Small-Town Weekends
Small-Town Weekends — Lenox, Stockbridge, Great Barrington
The Berkshires small-town weekend is its own category — Lenox on a Friday evening, Stockbridge on a Saturday morning, Great Barrington's main street at lunch. Slower than Boston, quieter than the Cape, and the walkable main-street pattern works unusually well for adults 21+ building a weekend around a dispensary stop and a quiet inn. This pillar covers the small-town template: which towns fit which kind of weekend, which inns are worth booking, and how the Berkshires main-street rhythm differs from the summer-Tanglewood version. Year-round; the off-season Berkshires has its own following.
