What to expect
The Boston Pops perform a symphonic arrangement of Jerry Garcia's catalogue — the format is the band-plus-orchestra collaboration that's become a touring fixture, with the Pops adding the orchestral textures around the core songs. Tuesday night before the regular BSO weekend kicks in. Adults 21+: same Massachusetts public-consumption rule on state-owned land applies on the lawn.
