What to expect
Jon Stewart kicks off the Tanglewood Popular Artist Series ahead of the BSO season. Expect a stand-up evening shaped by 2026's election cycle. The Shed seats ~5,000 with another ~10,000 on the lawn — buy lawn tickets early and bring a low-back chair plus a picnic. For adults 21+ traveling in from out of state: Massachusetts cannabis law prohibits consumption on state-owned land and in public spaces, so any pre-show ritual is a private rental, not the lawn.
Good to know
- 21+ only. Bring government ID; it’s checked at the door.
- Seats and tickets are handled by the organizer; the button opens their page.
